The torrent to fall remains
But only if our eyes are up

For even in the darkest times
Where wind and sorrow meet
When love and hope seem pushed aside
The face of God we’ll see
He will help, yes He’ll console
He’ll give us mercy for today
And with mighty arms that made the world
He’ll hold us all the way
So whether with a joyful heart
Or with one that’s torn to shreds
Remember the great truths of God
And the faithful words He said:
“Behold, I will sustain you
I will never let you go
And even in the hardest times
My loving heart you’ll know”
So in all times and places
Circumstances and all ways
Sing a song to God
And praise His holy name.
